Formas is a small self-managed press translating and distributing Latin American and Spanish activist literature in English, with a focus on women and queer writers with dissident voices and practices.
Formas translates as several words in English; forms, patterns, ways, shapes, methods, kinds or means of doing or being. For the press, this signifies finding different ways to translate, print and distribute literature that shifts understanding of the world in order to transform it.

Mordiscos [Nibbles]
Mordiscos is Spanish for nibbles or little bites. Our mordiscos series allows readers to pick up quick reads and digestible versions of larger books or concepts. This series proudly links to the history of political pamphlets and zines, as methods of quickly and easily disseminating political knowledge, critique and community information.
Our Mordiscos are available in multiple languages as a springboard for militante literature to reach more audiences.
